The gift shop was much, much, much better before MoBot rebuilt the visitors center. Now it seems to be much smaller, have a considerably reduced stock consisting of far less interesting items, and overpriced compared to before. I’ve visited the new shop a few times since the rebuilt center opened and I’m disappointed every time with how much it doesn’t measure up to the old one. Those who don’t have memories of the old gift shop might be satisfied, but for those of us who remember, what a sad change.

Very nice gift store located in the Missouri Botanical Gardens Visitor Center. They have a wide variety of gifts and other items including live plants, souvenirs, books, clothes, jewelry, soaps, magnets, snacks and many other items. Be sure to stop in when you are at the gardens!

Best museum/garden gift shop I’ve ever seen. Incredible variety of items. Prices in the high side, which is to be expected. Member discount available. Plants for sale outdoors in the summer. I love the little seating area, and the great book and t-shirt selection. Staff are friendly. Large space. Near front door area and restrooms. It’s possible that I took more photos in the gift shop than I took in the garden itself.

Awesome shop inside MoBot with a huge selection of house plants plus all kinds of other items for the home. You will pay a premium, but everything appears to be high quality. To my knowledge, you can visit the shop without paying the admission fee. We were last here in mid October and they were also selling bulbs of various landscape plants.
